Macquarie University Observatory From 2002 till 2009, Lesa supervised and operated the Macquarie University Observatory public outreach program, including observing on Friday nights and operations of the portable planetarium. Koolang Observatory Lesa worked on a casual basis as a night-sky guide for Koolang Observatory at Bucketty, NSW, from 1992 to 2009. Koolang Observatory is no longer operating. Sydney Observatory From 2008 to 2018, Lesa worked as a sky guide and astronomy educator for Sydney Observatory. This observatory houses the oldest working telescope in Australia and many other historical exhibits. It also offers a 3D theatre, planetarium and viewing with a modern telescope. |
